After Luo Yuanwei's family goes bankrupt, she breaks up with Qi Xuan to avoid burdening him before his departure abroad. Upon his return, Qi Xuan, still in love with her, marries her but believes she abandoned him for money. Luo Yuanwei tries to explain but fails. It isn't until his grandmother's deathbed that he learns the truth. Wei Yu, who once pursued Qi Xuan, is mistaken for the CEO's wife and uses the identity to torment Luo Yuanwei, only to be exposed by Qi Xuan.
