DramaCix ("we", "us", "the Platform") provides an online catalog and streaming interface for short drama series sourced from third-party content providers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors and members, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: if you register, we store your username, email address and a securely hashed password.
• Usage data: which series/episodes you view, your watch progress and watchlist, so the site can show "continue watching" and recommendations.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/device type, and request headers, collected automatically for every visit — mainly to keep the service secure and to distinguish real visitors from bots/scrapers.
• Cookies & local storage: used for session login, language/quality preferences, and to pass our anti-bot verification (Cloudflare / Turnstile-style challenge). See Section 3.
• Payment-related data: if you purchase a VIP subscription, payment itself is processed by an external, third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number — we only receive confirmation that a payment was made and for which plan.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate the Platform: authenticate members, remember your watch history and lists, deliver video content.
• To keep the service secure: detect and block bots, scrapers and denial-of-service attempts (this is why technical/request data is collected even for non-members).
• To improve the catalog: understand which content is popular so we can prioritize adding new episodes.
• To communicate with you: respond to support/copyright requests you submit, and — only if you opted in — send announcements.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: (a) a session cookie that keeps you logged in, (b) a preference cookie for language/quality, and (c) a security-verification cookie issued after you pass our anti-bot check, so you are not asked to verify again on every page. We do not use these cookies to build cross-site advertising profiles. If analytics or advertising scripts are active on the site, they may set their own cookies under their respective providers' policies.

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell personal data. Limited data is shared only with:

• Infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN, DDoS/bot-protection) needed to run the site — e.g. Cloudflare.
• The external payment provider used for VIP purchases.
• Authorities, only when legally required to comply with a valid request.

5. Third-Party Content Sources

DramaCix aggregates and streams video content originating from third-party platforms. When you watch an episode, your device may briefly connect to those third-party content-delivery networks; this is necessary for playback and is separate from the data described above.

6. Data Security

Passwords are stored hashed, not in plain text. Access to member data is restricted to what is operationally necessary. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data, or object to a specific use of your data, by submitting a request through our notice form (select the closest matching reason) or by deleting your account from your account settings. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

The Platform is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age. Some content on the Platform may not be suitable for all ages.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
