SYNOPSIS

The two daughters of the Lu family in the capital are bound by fate: the eldest is arranged to marry Prince Chu, and the younger is engaged to the heir. When the eldest sister takes advantage of Prince Chu's illness to collude with the Crown Prince and becomes his concubine, she causes great suffering for the younger sister. Modern-day doctor Lu Yunyao transmigrates into the role of the second miss of the Lu family and encounters her former brother-in-law, the sickly Prince Chu. The two help each other: Lu Yunyao treats Prince Chu's illness, and he helps her clear her name. Prince Chu demands she live according to his preferences, forbidding her from wearing bright colors and insisting she cook for him. While she enjoys a life of luxury in the palace, her outings are limited. Outsiders believe Lu Yunyao suffers, but she relishes the lavish lifestyle.
